How do I register?
As we have not yet set up a registration function on our new website, please forward your interest in an email to the gouldingparkslopitch@gmail.com link above. Please include:

If you wish, you can also send along a short blurb about any previous experience playing slopitch and what you think your skill level is. Someone will contact you and answer any further questions you might have.
How much does it cost?
Registration fees vary from year to year, depending on the cost of field permits from the city, umpire fees and whether or not we are buying new team jerseys. The fee for 2026 is $205, which is up $10 from last year, though this season will also include jerseys. Registration fees are due around June 1.
Is there a waiting list?
There usually is a waiting list of three or four names over the course of the summer and into the winter off-season. But we've been able to accommodate just about everyone over the years once we've determined who is coming back and who isn't.
I haven't played softball in decades. Would I be a fit for your league?
Yes. Our league has a wide spectrum of skill levels when it comes to batting and fielding. Those skill levels are balanced out among the four teams.
Are team entries accepted?
Not at this time. We're only a four-team league with a total of 50-55 players. The only time we accepted a new team was right after COVID when our numbers plummeted and we needed an entire team to fill out our schedule.
Are there any age or gender restrictions to joining?
The only age restriction is that you must be 18 years of age or older. As for gender, we have never had a full-time female player, though on several occasions someone's girlfriend/fiancee/wife/mother has filled in for a game or two. But in answer to your, question, if a female wanted to join fulltime, there is nothing preventing her from joining. Note that there is a mixed slopitch league that also plays out of Goulding Park on Sundays. We can forward you a contact if that's more your preference.
When and where do we play?
Our league plays out of Goulding Park in the Yonge-Steeles-Finch area of North York from roughly the middle of May until our championship game a week or two after Labour Day. We play doubleheaders on Monday nights from 8 p.m. to around 11 p.m.
